About: To provide current income exempt from regular federal and California income tax and to enhance portfolio value relative to the municipal bond market by investing in tax-exempt municipal bonds that the investment adviser believes are under rated or under valued or that represent municipal market sectors that are under valued. At least 80% of its net assets are invested in investment grade quality municipal bonds. Up to 20% of net assets may be invested in below investment grade municipal bonds. Up to 10% of its net assets may be invested in municipal bonds that are rated B-/B3 or that are unrated but judged to be of comparable quality by the investment adviser.
