About: The Trust seeks a high level of current income with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. It invests mainly in high yield corporate bonds, floating rate bank loans and mortgage- and other asset-backed securities. It will invest at least 25% of its total assets in each category. The Trust will maintain an average portfolio duration of between two and five years (including the effect of anticipated leverage). Normally it expects to maintain a weighted average portfolio credit quality of investment grade. However, it may invest up to 25% of its total assets in below investment grade securities.
